Founded in 1988, Child Development Schools is headquartered in Austin, TX operating over 260 childcare centers in 11 states. Our three early childhood education brands are Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders. We proudly provide quality care and developmental education to over 30,000 children aged six weeks to twelve years.

We have a great opportunity for a Growth Manager to join our growing company!

Growth Managers will develop strategies to grow enrollment and retention in our schools.

The Growth Manager must be passionate about providing childcare services to working families. This leadership role creates an opportunity to develop enrollment, marketing, retention and conversion strategies that will build and grow the business.

This is a remote position assigned to the Southwest Region and must be located in TX, AR, OK, or AZ and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Growth. This position will be responsible for driving enrollment, retention and marketing initiatives throughout the schools in conjunction with field leadership. The goal is to enable the schools to become experts at growing their business.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies specific regional enrollment, marketing, retention and financial goals, including but not limited to Net Growth, Net Revenue and EBITA, teacher attrition, family retention
  • Ability to quickly assess growth needs at a school and market level
  • Ability to create a growth plan with field partnership and strong follow-up which enables the school to execute on the plan
  • Supports and enables the schools in executing growth plans through coaching and follow-up
  • Works closely with marketing and field operations, HR to develop creative strategies to grow enrollments and drive an enrollment culture in the schools along with school engagement
  • Analyzes regional competition and strengthens the company's brand position in assigned regional areas
  • Understands national marketing plans and tailors them to suit regions
  • Develops a clear understanding of the financial goals in a region and the key success indicators
  • Creates Best Practices Playbook for the field, working closely with the Senior Manager of Growth, District Managers, Regional Directors, Marketing and Center Support on execution plans
  • Executes growth strategy in assigned region focused on enabling the schools to increase lead growth, convert leads, schedule tours, convert tours, retain families and increase enrollments
  • Works with Finance, Operations Support and Marketing to help schools execute on data-driven strategy
  • Prepares periodic status reports for Field Leadership and Ops Support

Requirements

  • Four years of combined childcare center leadership, sales or business development experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Early Child Education, Finance, or Marketing
  • Master's degree may be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the childcare and/or education market required
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills essential, and the ability to tell a story to motivate behaviors
  • In-depth understanding of the marketing and sales processes in education or childcare industries
  • Ability to influence
  • Track record of consistent year-over-year growth
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success working both independently and in highly collaborative environments
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Adept at using a variety of research database tools as appropriate
  • Ability to travel at least 75% within the region
