Founded in 1988, Child Development Schools is headquartered in Austin, TX operating over 260 childcare centers in 11 states. Our three early childhood education brands are Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders. We proudly provide quality care and developmental education to over 30,000 children aged six weeks to twelve years.

We have a great opportunity for a Social Media Content Specialist to join our growing company!

The Social Media Content Specialist will develop a social media marketing plan, create, and post new content, connecting with the community, and analyzing the success and performance of social media marketing campaigns. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer service, to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive social media presence.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management:
  • Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content. Content includes videos and photos on company's website, blog, and aforementioned social media channels.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).


Email Marketing Campaigns:
  • Plan, create, and send marketing emails to promote our programs, events, and special offers.
  • Analyze email campaign performance and implement improvements to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Parent App Notifications: Use our parent engagement app to send timely and relevant notifications, updates, and announcements.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with our brand voice and resonate with our audience.


Blog Writing:
  • Write engaging blog posts that highlight our programs, educational philosophies, and success stories.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align blog content with ongoing campaigns and seasonal themes.


Reputation Management:
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to reviews through Yext platform as well as implementing and managing automated response setup and content.
  • Reports review and social media stats to Senior Director Marketing and larger organization when applicable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in campaign management, preferably in the education or childcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and best practices
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven approach
