We have a great opportunity for a Director, Revenue Cycle Management to join our growing company!

The Director Revenue Cycle directs and oversees the overall policies, objectives , and initiatives of the organization's revenue cycle activities, including revenue assurance, revenue management, and billing for Agency, Early Head Start, Pre-K, and USDA. This position reviews, designs, and implements processes surrounding admissions, pricing, billing, third-party payer relationships, compliance, collections, and other financial analyses to ensure that the revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized . T he position ensures that revenue generation is optimized and financial processes are efficient and aligned with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements processes and controls meant to ensure that revenue capture is accurate and maximized
  • Oversees a team of managers that identify ways to prevent revenue leakage or loss, reduce costs associated with business operations or revenue capture, or improve margin
  • Collaborates internally to ensure that established controls are efficient and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
  • Tracks numerous metrics related to the record coding error rates and billing turnaround times to develop sound revenue cycle analysis and reporting
  • Manages relations with payers and providers to generate high reimbursement rates
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business or another related field
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in early childhood education, including time directly involved in school operations; at least 5 years of management experience
  • Excellent people leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to build strong team member engagement.
  • Strong ability to balance multiple priorities while making progress towards goals simultaneously
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to form strong partnerships with both internal and external partners.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills that show the ability to diagnose areas of improvement
  • Deep ability to redesign processes to make things easier for all that are involved.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Passion for children and Early Childhood Education.
  • Ability to travel independently (25% multi-state travel required)
