We have a great opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join our growing company!
The Compliance Specialist Supports the development and implementation of school compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Monitors activities impacted by licensing/regulatory requirements related to the organization's governance and any Early Childhood Education-specific or location-specific laws.
This position can be located in GA, FL, or AL.

The Compliance Specialist Supports the development and implementation of school compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Monitors activities impacted by licensing/regulatory requirements related to the organization's governance and any Early Childhood Education-specific or location-specific laws.
This position can be located in GA, FL, or AL.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with DM and site admin to improve safety, quality, and licensing compliance daily
- Assisting with new hire onboarding to ensure all staff are properly trained
- Daily compliance checks of entire building
- Daily Classroom Observations and classroom staff coaching
- Ensuring staff and children's files are complete and up-to-date
- Utilizes established internal controls and auditing systems to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance.
- Implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations.
- Prepares and updates communication materials.
- Assists with training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Early Childhood Education licensing practices/regulations
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships across the organization
- Experience working in high volume, fast paced organization with employees across multiple states preferred
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to prioritize, work independently and manage time accordingly
