We have a great opportunity for an Education Coordinator to join our growing company!

The Education Coordinator Supports classroom and program monitoring through classroom observations, review of electronic records, and work groups. Helps assess classroom and program needs and assists with planning strategies for system/process improvement and/or development in the areas of early childhood education. Assesses the implementation of the agency's work plan to insure the program/content goals and objectives are met. Providing guidance and support to staff with implementation of curriculum/individualization plans and ongoing assessment


  • Assist the teachers with planning, teaching and implementing the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans, so that it is most effective for the children in all age groups
  • Have knowledge of and ability to evaluate the whole learning environment using ITERS-R, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS in order to suggest improvements that will provide a more well rounded program in every classroom
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback and suggestions to teachers in a non-judgmental way, in order to improve their classrooms and the services provided to the children and families of Childcare Network
  • Conduct formal and informal classroom observations and share feedback with teachers and administration
  • Recognize best practice in classrooms using Gold Star awards and professional recognition charms, along with other meaningful methods
  • Work with the staff to provide positive physical and verbal interactions with the children throughout the day
  • Assist with new employee training and mentoring using all required onboarding materials
  • Help manage professional development documentation related to education and training and maintain up-to-date information for all staff at all times
  • Assist the administration team by building morale and creating a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years early childhood education experience
  • Positive, creative, energetic and innovative
  • Knowledge of HighReach Learning curriculum
  • Knowledge of classroom arrangement and labeling procedures
  • Knowledge of age appropriate practices for children of all ages
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience planning lessons and activities
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to travel independently for trainings
