("CDS") was founded with the initial acquisition of two schools in 1988 and today operates as three early childhood education brands - Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders. CDS is headquartered in Austin, TX today and is the fourth largest private child care provider in the United States, with 265+ brick-and-mortar centers across more than ten states. Every day, the company serves more than 30,000 children aged six months to 12 years old and is the market leader in the Southeastern United States. The Sr. Corporate Development Analyst role will report to the Director, Corporate Development, and will directly support the Corporate Development Team on helping the company achieve its inorganic growth goals. The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting the deal team in managing pipeline development, financial analysis, due diligence and integration plans on a variety of investment opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields required
- 2-4+ years of professional experience in Corporate Development (M&A), Strategic Finance, Consulting, Operations, Investment Banking, or similar environment working as a data analyst or a financial analyst
- Process-oriented and highly organized, with excellent attention to detail
- 2-4+ years of experience in Company and industry research and analysis
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
- Advanced MS Office Skills
- Ability to own complete accountability for designated tasks
- Must be passionate about strategic M&A work

Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Corporate Development team across all phases of acquisition activity through financial analysis and modeling, valuation, due diligence, and integration activities
- Participates in the creation and development of Corporate Development related documents and acquisition presentations
- Preparing reports of findings, illustrating data graphically, and translating complex finding into written presentations
- Analyzing data on select demographics, customer needs, and market capacities for new schools
- Assist with coordination with outside legal counsel for all acquisition related documents such as NDAs, LOIs, and purchase agreements
- Supports the management of the due diligence data room to ensure timely review of documents
- Measuring and analyzing post-close factors to assess successful transactions and to inform with future transactions
- Research activities to include target industries and sectors, geographies, and specific companies using primary and secondary source research methods
